Hey everyone!

In the midst of the craziness of school, dance, exams approaching, holidays, family, and just the normal busyness of life, I wanted to share one of my go-to breakfasts recently, that is SUPER easy and quick! Plus, it's so fun to customize!!

Overnight Oats!

I normally use a more basic recipe as my base and then alter depending on my mood, but this time I decided to try a new one!!

I edited a little, but here's how I made it!

Time: about 10 min work-time, has to sit overnight though.

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1/2 cup of vanilla, unsweetened almond milk

3 tbsp of coconut yogurt (I used SO!)

1 tablespoon of cacao powder (unsweetened)

1/2 shot warm espresso

1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 scoop Juice Plus Chocolate plant-based protein powder

1. Add everything to a jar.

2. Mix together.

3. Add toppings.

4. Close jar tightly and store in fridge until next morning!

See- only 4 simple steps and you're done!

Some fun toppings to play with:

- shredded zucchini or carrots(I LOVE adding to get in some extra veggies:))

- hemp hearts

- chia seeds

- sliced banana

- cinnamon

- sweet potato

- playing with different extracts like peppermint or almond(Ooooo!?)

- other fresh fruit

- chocolate chips(I used these vegan ones!)

- nuts

- dried fruit

and more!!!

This recipe is great for on-the-go mornings with school, work, dance, pretty much whatever! Let me know if you guys try and any fun ways you customize!

Look out for more recipes, along with life updates, dance info and more!
